Kristin's success story with the Mastering Diabetes Method and Mastering Diabetes coaching program is a testament to how simple changes in diet and lifestyle can have a profound impact on managing type 2 diabetes. After being diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, Kristin's A1C was 10.2. She discovered the Mastering Diabetes program later in her research on different ways to manage the condition.

She started following the program by reading the book, listening to the podcast, and eventually signing up for the meal plan. The meal plan made it easy for her to maintain the right ratios and choose foods that were green-lighted for her condition. Kristin noticed results almost immediately and started losing weight. Her A1C dropped to 7.5 and she has not needed medication to manage her diabetes.

She loves the variety of foods included in the meal plan and how it helps her think outside the box when it comes to preparing meals. For example, she never would have thought to use regular fruit as a base for her fruit salad or add cardamom to her fruit without the meal plan's tips and suggestions. The meal plan is also easy to use and provides a grocery list and portions that keep her feeling full without overeating.

While she's not perfect in following the program, Kristin believes that as long as she's following the recommendations and goals set out for her, she'll continue to see results. In her first 26 weeks, she lost 20 pounds, and her glucose levels have improved significantly. She's thrilled with the program and recommends it to anyone looking for a simple, effective way to manage their type 2 diabetes.
