Bob Madison, 73, had struggled with weight and health issues for years, including diabetes, sleep apnea, and high blood pressure.

He initially adopted a whole foods plant-based diet in 2013 after watching the documentary Forks Over Knives and saw significant improvements in his health. However, he later went back to his previous unhealthy eating habits and faced even worse health issues. In March 2022, he weighed 247 pounds and had an A1C of 9.7.

Determined to improve his health and be around for his grandchildren, Bob joined The Food Revolution network in April 2022, which led him to discover the Mastering Diabetes coaching program and book by Cyrus Khambatta and Robbie Barbaro. He read the book and found it to be a huge eye-opener.

Since then, Bob has lost over 40 pounds and reduced his A1C from 9.7 to 6.2. He is no longer on insulin and has reduced his beta-blocker medication by 75%. Bob credits his success to the Mastering Diabetes Method and its focus on a low-fat, plant-based, whole-food diet. He believes that this method can help others reverse type 2 diabetes and other health issues. Bob is passionate about spreading the word to help others improve their health and live longer, especially individuals his age or older.
