Casey's success story with the Mastering Diabetes Method and Mastering Diabetes coaching program is a story of gradually shifting towards a plant-based diet and increasing insulin sensitivity. Casey, who had Type 1 diabetes, was scared of carbohydrates, and his blood sugar levels were constantly fluctuating. He gradually started shifting towards a plant-based diet, consuming 150-200 grams of carbs, and primarily plant-based meals. He slowly started increasing his insulin sensitivity and started doing fully plant-based meals two or three times a week, with some olive oil.

During his daughter's birth, he was still debating about his diet, but after trying some food from his neighbor's vegan business, his insulin sensitivity increased significantly. Casey started consuming more carbohydrates to meet his caloric needs, and his insulin sensitivity went up to a ratio of one to 30. He even experienced a reduction in his heart rate fluctuations during exercise. Casey's A1c went down to 4.8, and he was able to significantly reduce his fat intake, and his insulin ratios improved.

Casey's story is inspiring, as it shows how gradually transitioning to a plant-based diet can improve insulin sensitivity, reduce blood sugar levels, and provide a healthier lifestyle. The Mastering Diabetes Method and coaching program have helped many people, including Casey, transition to a healthier diet and a better lifestyle.
