1cupmango - chopped (if grilling, don't chop until after it has been grilled)
2cupsspinach
1juice from an orange - (approx 1/2 cup)
1/2cupice cubes
1mediumfrozen banana
Instructions
Day before: Sprinkle cinnamon on the sliced pineapple slices (and mango halves if grilling) and grill directly on the rack of your grill or BBQ. Once grilled on both sides for 6 minutes, set aside and let cool. (see notes).
Making the smoothie: Put all the ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend until smooth.
Pour into two glasses.
Notes
Store the grilled pineapple in an air-tight container until you are ready to use the pineapple for your smoothie.Why not grill slices or halves of mango as well?
